Heart disease is the leading cause of death in American women. According to Women Heart, as a woman, you are six times more likely to die of heart disease than breast cancer.
And to a large extent, you can prevent it.
There are steps you can take to prevent heart disease and the sooner you start, the better. The best cure for heart disease is early prevention. Eating well, exercising and getting screened are steps you can take to start your journey toward heart health.
