Reduce Our Stress, Protect Our Hearts

What helps you to feel better when you are really stressed?

Hi, I'm Faith and I will be your blogger for reducing stress! Unlike your server in a restaurant, though, I'll be around for more than just one meal.

I hope you'll join me frequently as we explore together ways to reduce our stress and promote our heart health.

Is there anyone who doesn't believe that stress is hard on our hearts? The evidence is clear, as you can tell from reading the information provided on Sister to Sister or any other source of info about heart health.

But we really don't need anyone to tell us that stress is bad for our hearts, do we? We can figure it out on our own.

There's a reason why we have words like "heartache" and "heartbreak." And nowadays, we know that people (even animals) really can die from a broken heart.

Reduce our stress to protect our hearts -- easy to say, but hard to do in our busy lives.

It may be hard to reduce stress BUT it's not impossible! I say this from my own personal knowledge, as well as my professional experience.

I am a semi-reformed Type A personality. I call myself semi-reformed because it's something that I continue to work on.

The expertise that I have developed about stress reduction grew from my efforts to learn how to manage my own stress. Those efforts led me in directions I never could have imagined . . . including being here, diving into the wide world of blogging!

I'm looking forward to sharing what I have learned with you, and learning from what you can share with our community.

Here is a question to help us all get started: What helps you to feel better when you are really stressed?

I await your answers with great interest, and I'll bet that everyone else reading this blog does, too!
