Bad Marriage = High Blood Pressure
According to Asssociated Press -- A happy marriage is good for your blood pressure, but a stressed one can be worse than being single, a preliminary study suggests.

The study involved 204 married people and 99 single adults.
Study volunteers wore devices that recorded their blood pressure at random times over 24 hours. Married participants also filled out questionnaires about their marriage.
Spouses who scored low in marital satisfaction had higher average blood pressure than single people did.
I think that anyone who has ever had a challenging situation in a relationship would agree that they too might even feel their blood pressure elevate! What this points out to me is that we must look at all areas of our life when we try to have a healthy heart. It takes a well-rounded approaach to your relationships, career, finances, self-esteem and other areas including diet and lifestlye.
What do you think about this study? What have you found?
